POST Luxembourg Group is one of the largest employers in the country, with 4.371 staff working for the company and its subsidiaries in 2017. It has a well-established reputation and is firmly rooted in Luxembourg. A public institution
POST Luxembourg was founded in 1842 as a public service and has been a wholly state-owned company since 1992. It is the country's largest provider of postal and telecommunications services and also offers financial and philatelic services.
Our postal and financial services
Our postal services dispatch letters, parcels and express items (with the support of our subsidiary, Michel Greco S.A.), manage a large network of sales outlets and distribute Luxembourg's daily papers all over the country before 6.30 a.m. We handle on average 550,000 letters every day, although this number can double, or even triple, at the beginning and end of the year. These postal services are also available online via our websites www.eservices.lu and www.mypost.lu, which was specially designed to make accessing POST Luxembourg's postal services easier (including mass mailing and purchasing postage online). Each year, the Stamp Office (Office des Timbres) issues approximately thirty new stamps and postcards that celebrate Luxembourg's culture and mark important historic or current events in the country.
Our postal financial services offer current accounts, money transfers and bank cards, particularly VISA. The CCP account (Compte Chèque Postal – Postal Cheque Account) is one of Luxembourg’s cheapest current accounts. Half of the accounts or managed from our customers via the e-banking platform CCP Connect. The mobile app CCP Mobile enables our customers to consult and manage their accounts on their smartphone or tablet. The partnership with Banque Raiffeisen gives customers the option to access easily more services. Raiffeisen offers CCP customers a full range of banking services in addition to the CCP current account.
Our telecommunications services
Our telecommunications services range from landlines and mobiles to internet and television, as well as many specially designed services for businesses. POST Luxembourg owns its fixed and mobile infrastructure and, together with its subsidiary POST Telecom, offers secure, superfast broadband connectivity solutions, as well as voice and data management services to private individuals and businesses. Network quality and security are a priority for the company, which works to ensure that its infrastructure is entirely redundant. POST Luxembourg's five data centres are managed by EBRC and host all or part of the activities of companies working in the information and communication technologies (ICT) sector. They are linked by POST Luxembourg's superfast TERALINK broadband network, which connects several major European cities.
