POSTLAF 2021 raised €17,000 to support Caritas Luxembourg's work

28 April 2021

During the 2021 edition of POSTLAF, which took place on Sunday March 14, 2021, in the form of a virtual challenge, the 1,170 participants from 48 nationalities covered a total distance of 12,870 km.

In addition to the sporting challenge, this virtual POSTLAF was also organized for charity: POST Luxembourg pledged a donation of €5 for each participation, plus the runners' personal donations.

Thanks to these donations, POST Luxembourg handed over a cheque for €17,000 to Caritas Luxembourg on Tuesday April 27, 2021. Claude Strasser, Managing Director of POST Luxembourg, Mike Orazi, President of Amicale POST Luxembourg and Fabien Koser, President of the POSTLAF Organizing Committee presented the check to Marie-Josée Jacobs, President of Caritas Luxembourg, in the presence of Marc Kauffmann of the POSTLAF Organizing Committee and Stéphanie Sorvillo and Caroline Thewes of Caritas Luxembourg.

As a reminder, following the health restrictions in force, the Amicale POST Luxembourg exceptionally offered its traditional "POSTLAF" running race in the form of a virtual challenge. Each participant chose an individual route of at least 10 km, then transmitted his or her performance to the organizer via an online platform.
