CyberForce Awards presented by POST Luxembourg and EBRC as part of Cybersecurity Week 2021

On the occasion of Cybersecurity Week 2021, POST Luxembourg and EBRC organized a series of four virtual sessions from October 18 to 21, 2021. During these webinars under the theme "Cyber Stories by CyberForce", POST & EBRC customers shared their business stories around cybersecurity topics, and POST CyberForce and EBRC experts outlined best practices in the field as well as lessons learned. 

The Cyber Stories by CyberForce were brought to an end with a conference on Friday, October 22, 2021 at INNSiDE by Melia at the Cloche d'Or during which, among other things, the "CyberForce Awards 2021" ceremony took place in 4 different categories. 

An initiative of POST Luxembourg and EBRC, the CyberForce Awards recognize individuals and companies in Luxembourg for their achievements in cybersecurity-related fields of expertise. Diversity, collaboration, achieving common goals and working with trust are the central themes. 

CyberForce Awards 2021 :

  • Personality of the year (POST): Rewards a personality for their outstanding contribution to the cybersecurity industry through their achievements in an exceptional event and challenges, as well as raising awareness of their organization and the cybersecurity industry. 
    Winner: Edith Magyarics, CEO, Victor Buck Services 

  • Ambassador of the year (POST) : Awarded to an individual who has established a reputation as a recognized opinion leader in the field of cybersecurity.
    Winner: Jelena Matone, Chief Information Security Officer, European Investment Bank and President of Women Cyber Force in Luxembourg.
  • Finance, FinTechs & RegTechs (EBRC) :

    Rewards the performance of a company and its team in the successful implementation of a resilience project in the finance, Fintechs & Regtechs sector. 
    Winner: i-Hub (represented by José Correia, Chief Administration officer and Chief Information Security Officer at i-Hub) 

  • Health & Life Sciences (EBRC) : Awarded to a healthcare or life sciences company whose resilience-based strategy has contributed to the success of numerous projects.
    Winner: Hôpitaux Robert Schman (represented by Jacques Federspiel, Chief Information Security Officer at HRS)
