Intégration du réseau de stations PackUp POST pour les commandes Amazon

13 November 2023

On Monday 13 November 2023, POST Luxembourg and Amazon officially launched the integration of POST Luxembourg's network of PackUp 24/24 stations and points of sale for the collection of Amazon orders.

Thanks to this new partnership between POST Luxembourg and Amazon, each Amazon customer can choose during the ordering process via Amazon.de, in addition to their usual delivery address, one of the more than 170 collection options provided by POST, in PackUp 24/24 stations or POST points of sale.

In the past, Amazon customers already had the option of creating a MyPost account and entering their personal PackUp address for delivery. From now on, it will no longer be necessary to register for the PackUp service in advance, making this alternative and particularly convenient delivery method even more accessible.

When the parcel is ready for collection, the customer receives an e-mail and a notification via the POST Parcel & Mail app with the information needed to collect it.

To collect the parcel from a POST point of sale, customers need to present the tracking number and a valid identity document.

“We are delighted to provide an even better shopping and delivery experience for Amazon customers in Luxembourg – one that is more convenient, more flexible, and more secure,” said Antoine Dreyfus, Director of Worldwide Pickup & Returns, Amazon, at a ceremony to mark the launch. “Whether they live in the heart of the city or in the countryside, I hope customers will take advantage of these pick-up locations to explore the vast assortment of items we offer on our German store.”

Mario Treinen, Director of POST Courier, added: : "This new service strengthens our long-term partnership with Amazon and reflects our good collaboration. As Amazon is one of POST's largest business customers, our alternative delivery options, in particular our PackUp network, will now be available at a stroke to many citizens. This will give customers even greater flexibility in their online shopping experience. In terms of sustainability, this means that the 'last mile' journey, i.e. from the distribution centre to the customer, will be as environmentally friendly as possible."
